Killian and Freya had been having dreams about eachother even before they met, when they finally did meet it was at Freya's engagement party where she was getting engaged to Killian's brother Dash. Later throughout the story, a few days before Freya's wedding, Killian finally tells her he's always been completely in love with her to try and get her to leave Dash and run away with him.
